12 personnel in the Adamawa State command of the Department of State Services, DSS, have tested positive for Covid-19.
According to reports, tests conducted on many other operatives are still pending which might increase the number of positive cases of the pandemic in the agency in the coming days.
The state Director of the DSS, Bolade Olori, has denied testing positive to the virus or even on self isolation, SaharaReporters reported.
According to them, the agency are trying to cover up the fact that some of its personnel have contacted the virus and they don’t want to reveal it to the public.
SaharaReporters reports “that all operatives of the agency that had tested positive for the virus were already in isolation centres in Yola, the state capital.”
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Adamawa State has a total of 73 confirmed cases of Coronavirus.
