The Lagos State governor revealed that 87 recovered COVID19 patients; 40 females and 47 males, were discharged to rejoin the society. They were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID19. With this, he said that the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from the facilities is now 825.”
Recall that the first confirmed case in Nigeria was announced on 27 February 2020, when an Italian citizen in Lagos state tested positive for the virus.
The Lagos State governor in a series of tweet equally urged lagosians to adhere strictly to the COVID19 guidelines.
“As our frontline health workers record these successes, we urge Lagosians to adhere strictly to the public advisories & directives as this is the only way we can break the chain of transmission of the coronavirus. We must always remember that the goal is to remain healthy”, he said.
