The Nigerian Government has postponed the resumption date for international flights which was earlier scheduled for 29th August.

This was disclosed in a tweet yesterday, August 27 by the Federal Ministry of Aviation during the Presidential briefing on COVID-19.

The authority stated that while airlines and airports were ready, other non-aviation logistics require the one-week extension.

The ministry tweeted, “Breaking: Regret to announce that the international flight resumption earlier scheduled to resume on 29th August has been shifted to 5th September 2020. #PTF on COVID-19 #AviationNG
