What Joe Biden tweeted after being named President-Elect

Joe Biden took to Twitter shortly after being name the President-Elect of the United States of America.

He defeated the incumbent Donald Trump after he claimed 273 electoral votes.

Biden, 77-year-old Democratic candidate  expressed his gratitude and said he is honoured to lead the United States describing the country as “great” and promised to be a President for all Americans.

He tweeted;

“America, I’m honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country. The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a President for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me.”

Also, Joe Biden has equally changed his Twitter bio to “President-Elect” following his win in the 2020 US Presidential election.

His now bio reads;

President-Elect, husband to @DrBiden , proud father & grandfather. Ready to build back better for all Americans.
